Apple corporate employees In The us receive April 11 Deadline For Returning To office

According to the latest reports, Apple Inc. has set a deadline of April 11, 2022, for its corporate employees to return to office-based work. This latest information comes from Bloomberg’s mark Gurman and includes Apple Park as a corporate environment.

While some companies around the world are fully embracing the remote working culture, Cupertino-based Apple Inc. is one of the corporate giants that want to try and get people back to a more traditional way of working.

A company-wide memo issued by CEO Tim cook has stated that office-based employees must be working at least one day a week in that office by April 11. The memo also sets out staged guidelines for increasing office attendance.

Cook has set out phased return-to-the-office expectations. Office-based employees who are currently working remotely will need to work at least one day in the office per week by April 11. Those employees will be expected to increase that cadence to at least two days a week three weeks after that initial date. and will be expected to be office-based for at least three days a week by may 23, 2022. Those days are set on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Tim Cook’s memo outlines the belief that in-person working allows staff to “engage more fully” and highlights a milestone as the world returns to a sense of normality post-COVID:

For many of you, I know that returning to the office represents a long-awaited milestone and a positive sign that we can engage more fully with the colleagues who play such an important role in our lives.

Whilst attempting to highlight the positives, cook does also acknowledge that for some people, the return to in-person work may be an unsettling change.”

Apple has made numerous attempts in the past to get employees back to the office but has thus far had to abandon those plans due to rising Covid cases. Some employees will be chomping at the bit to get back to the office whilst others will be seriously apprehensive about the change. Cook, however, acknowledges that “it is as important as ever that we support each other through this transition, through the challenges we face as a team and around the world.”

You don’t need to have been keeping the closest of eyes on us to know that we’re always keen to share deals on Koogeek products. There are plenty of reasons for that, ranging from the products themselves being amazing to their pricing being a lot more than competitive. When you throw in a discount, things get even better, as is the case with the Koogeek smart plug ideal now.

These smart plugs have all of the conventional features you’d expect in 2019, including voice control by means of various digital assistants and support for timers and such. What makes these smart plugs so terrific is that not only do they support Google assistant and Amazon Alexa, but Apple’s HomeKit, too. That’s not something that lots of smart plugs support, and certainly not ones at this price.

Speaking of price. We said there was a deal to be had, didn’t we?

Buy: Koogeek smart Plug, WiFi Socket outlet Compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google assistant from Amazon: $19.97 with code VL5N8YYE | original price: $30

Back to that HomeKit support for a moment. If you have a HomeKit-enabled home you’ll be able to use these smart plugs with everything that is already configured, including HomeKit scenes. That indicates you can have your devices turn on and off based on other actions and whatnot, making for some pretty complex capabilities.

Support for HomeKit also indicates support for Siri, including the HomePod, so there’s that to consider as well. At this price, you’re getting a real bargain on a very capable smart plug. We’d suggest picking up a lot more than one while the deal is good!

When you are checking out the product on Amazon don’t forget to enter the discount code otherwise you will end up paying the full $30 MSRP.

Leaked Jelly Bean update for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 + how To Flash

We are already aware of the incidents with carrier variants of smartphones, either there are limitations or if not, then leaks like this one.

Late yesterday scrosler@XDA, who is a recognized developer posted the leaked 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3. considering that this is not an official release by the Verizon itself, we don’t claim any certain updates & features but in regard with the word “update”, we shall say that either it’s a bug fixed release or maybe with some updated goodies. According to scrosler & his sources, this is a lot of probably the final OTA build package.

Now, there is something I want you (users) to take note of, this is not in any way considered as an official release by Verizon. So, anything that you make with your device is on the sake of your own risk. besides this, I would personally like to encourage you with a little experience of my own, “Don’t proceed with anything without knowing what you are doing & what will be its consequences”. If you understand the risk & harm that this can cause to your device, then only you must proceed additionally with its details.

It has been made available in two variants aka “odexed” & “de-odexed” versions. Further, some extra features: Rooted, Busybox, zip aligned, init.d support & adb as root have also been included.

What is “Odexed” & “deodexed” version?

“.odex” is in short for “optimized dalvik executable” file which is similar to windows executable (.exe) file. An odex file is a compressed form which consists of pieces and bits of its Android apk which is optimized/ processed on the Android boot to speed up the boot process. So, an “odexed” version of the ROM is the one that contains “.odex” file for each of its apk which normally makes it very tough to modify/ edit the certain apk.

“deodex” is not a file extension, rather it indicates that the “.odex” file has already been set up and all the apk bits are put inside the classes.dex file which is found in the apk file itself.  Hence, a deodexed version of the ROM is a lot more more effective if you intend to modify any of the ROM apks in future.

The update is available as a flashable zip format which is ready to be flashed with a custom-made recovery such as CWM etc.

How to Flash

Download the preferred version from scrosler’s website.

Connect Your device to the PC by means of USB.

Drag the downloaded .zip update to your SD card.

Disconnect the device.

Reboot your device into recovery by pressing volume up + home + power button together concurrently until you see the blue colored recovery text.

Select the “Install Zip from sdcard” option & then “choose zip from sdcard”

Now, look in the place where you placed the downloaded zip and flash it

When done, the recovery will notify you.

Select the “wipe data/factory reset” option

Select “reboot system now”

Done! You have successfully flashed the leaked 4.1.1 Jellybean update on your Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3

iOS 10.3.2 release notes / Changelog: Here’s What Is changed

With iOS 10.3.2 now available to everyone, here’s the release notes and changelog details to show everything that has changed in this new firmware update.

Apple has today made iOS 10.3.2 available to the global public. any iOS device owner with a compatible iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is now able to download and install the latest release to that device, which in turn, means that they can immediately take advantage of any improvements, feature additions, or stability enhancements added to the firmware.

The iOS 10.3.2 beta process looked to have initially been executed in place of any iOS 10.3.1 release, but Apple quickly rectified that with an unexpected iOS 10.3.1 release bringing internal support for the company’s older 32-bit devices. It’s likely that iOS 10.3.1 was tested as part of iOS 10.3, and therefore didn’t require its own beta release.

But with iOS 10.3.2 officially out of testing, and now actually available to download and install, we can finally outline exactly what’s new and available.

As you might expect from what is definitely a very minor point release, there simply isn’t too much to shout and dance about with iOS 10.3.2. At least not from a new functionality or outward-facing feature perspective. In all of the betas which have preceded this release, Apple has shared the same set of release notes, giving us an indication of what its internal engineers have been focusing on. Those release notes have remained consistent throughout all releases, alluding to the fact that iOS 10.3.2 is about under-the-hood and internal improvements.

From a fix and improvement perspective, fans of Siri and those with a CarPlay-enabled vehicle or aftermarket fitted CarPlay head unit will take interest. Apple has made internal improvements to ensure that the “new SiriKit car commands should now work as expected.” This means that users can give verbal commands when in a vehicle and get the expected results returned. Apple’s engineers have also made some internal improvements to openURL protocols, with any third-party app now showing an alert requesting confirmation prior to any FaceTime, FaceTime Audio, or standard cellular call being invoked.

iOS 10.3.2 includes bug fixes and improves the security of your iphone or iPad.

We have included the official release notes which accompany iOS 10.3.2 above, but for anyone who needs to be on the latest version of iOS, and who doesn’t care about sitting on a firmware version that can be jailbroken, then we would highly recommend checking out the release notes and then heading over to the software update mechanism and getting iOS 10.3.2 immediately.

Update x1: Apple has now posted full security content page for iOS 10.3.2, detailing each and every security fix which has been implemented in this latest iOS release:

Given the truth that this gadget hasn’t even started shipping yet, in addition to that it was found in Menlo Park, it’s likely to be an Apple worker testing the set in the real-world.

It likewise seems like HomePod is in utilize as far away as China, with one Instagram individual publishing a picture of the HomePod in yet one more kitchen area environment, identified with a place of Shanghai, China, as well as captioned just with #HomePod. In the background of the photo, you can likewise see the packaging for the company’s new speaker in addition to the charger.

As with the discovery in Menlo Park where we can take an informed assumption that the house belongs to an Apple employee, with this Instagram publish we can safely presume that the gadget is in the hands of a trusted source in Apple’s supply chain.

The frustrating thing right here is that we don’t really get any type of extra insight into the device, or get to discover anything more about the upcoming intelligent speaker that we don’t already understand of. Download iOS 13.1 Beta 3, iPadOS 13.1 Beta 3 IPSW Links, OTA update For iPhone, iPad

You can now download iOS 13.1 beta 3 IPSW links and iPadOS 13.1 beta 3 IPSW and OTA update for your iphone or iPad. here are the details.

Following on from a jam-packed “By development Only” iphone event, Apple has officially released iOS 13.1 beta 3 into the development community. The third beta in the iOS 13.1 release roadmap is available to download best now for all compatible iphone and iPod touch models.

It was toward the back-end of August that Apple blindsided both the development and testing communities by issuing the first beta of iOS 13.1.

At that time, iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 were progressing nicely, with each platform receiving semi-regular pre-release seeds to put them into the hands of the relevant people. Then, for one reason or another, up popped Apple to throw a spanner in the works by deciding that iOS 13.1 had an essential part to play in the progression of iOS 13. Now, it seems that iOS 13.1 is Apple’s sole focus as it hurtles toward a final public release.

With the release of iOS 13.1, Apple reinstated a number of features which had previously been released from some iOS 13 releases. Those using iOS 13.1 were able to once again share ETAs through the Maps app, access the shortcuts automation tab in the shortcuts app, and even acquire access to audio sharing through AirPods and Powerbeats pro hardware.

There had been some early indications during the development stages of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 that Apple wouldn’t have both platforms streamlined in time to release when it wanted, which is clearly why iOS 13.1 is in existence. some of the much more complex or troublesome features have been pushed to that release.

We don’t expect iOS 13.1 beta 3 to have any brand new functionality or features included. Instead, as you’d expect from the third beta of a firmware which is due to go into the public domain on September 30, this is all about stability and ironing out any kinks and issues with the features that have been pulled from iOS 13 and put into iOS 13.1. We’re sure Apple won’t want to find itself in a position whereby iOS 13.1 isn’t ready for the intended release date and features have to be pulled once again or delayed even further.

So, with that in mind, iOS 13.1 beta 3 is now available to download as an IPSW file from developer.apple.com or OTA update from settings > general > software update section of the device itself, so make sure to get your hands on it and test it thoroughly.

YEAR IN ideas

The new York Times has published their 8th annual Year in Ideas. It’s a collection of interesting research and policy changes that have happened in the last year. They cover several projects that we’ve found noteworthy in the past. pictured above is [Max Donelan]’s power generating knee brace. It generates power as you perform mundane daily activities. another pick was the Brickley Engine. It has a unique piston layout to reduce friction for increased efficiency. We were particularly interested in the research that discovered drone pilots become exhausted far quicker than pilots in real aircraft. It’s doubtful that this problem of “sensory isolation” will go away and we wonder what other fields it might appear in. They even mention [Josh Klein]’s crow vending machine. You’ll find something to pique your interest in the Year of Ideas, even if it’s DNA forensics for dog poop.
